Cell recycling by Americans

altAnalyst firm ABI Research asked whether the U.S. mobile phone users and how to give phones to recyckling used. According to surveys, only one in four of them decided to donate old and unused equipment has to be processed.

38% of all questioned said that the participants gave his old phone operators dealing with recyckling. 70% of them transferred from one phone to charitable organizations and received from the tax return for donations. 5% of them abstained from any of the allowances in this respect.

Of those who have not yet decided to donate your phone to a recovery of 98% has already prepared to take such a step. They want to give your device to the appropriate point in the operator's point of sale, charities, manufacturer, or company dealing with the recovery of such equipment, but only after adequate financial inducements.

Most of the leading operators of U.S. programs aimed at recovery of the market, outdated phone models. Sprint network such as 90% of phones could be sold out again to recover, but the rate among clients is only about 30%.

Among the respondents, slightly more women than men are willing to get rid of unused phone already. Such a step is clearly more likely to choose those over 40 year of life than younger ones. The survey was conducted in October and participated in the 1000 people.
