Microsoft: New version of Windows Server will be a major release

It is likely, the next major release of the Redmond company's "big" software platforms will release a new version of the server operating system Windows Server. Anyway, vice president of Server and Tools at Microsoft Bob Muglia (Bob Muglia) in a recent interview said that the corporation intends to follow the established tradition in recent years, when major and minor releases alternately out of the walls of Server and Tools roughly every two years.


Recall last update called Windows Server 2008 R2 was exactly the current and completed last year. So now it is logical to expect a release of not just updating, namely a new version of the server operating system that can find a place last development professionals by Microsoft, and that may be presented in the next year. According to Bob Muglia, the next generation of Windows Server will make use of technology, used in the project Windows Azure.
