French pirates candidates for parliament

altRepresentatives of the French Pirate Party will participate in the election to the National Assembly, lower house of the local parliament.

On behalf of the Pirate Party in the election starts Rouquet Maxime, a 23-year-old engineering student, who was, inter alia, local councilor. His deputy (each party must issue the two candidates) is Laurent Le Besnerais, game designer and member of the coordinating group of French and International Pirate Party Pirate Party in France.

Party in its campaign will include advocating formulate a new legal definition of property rights and respect for civil liberties and promote fair and open access to information and cultural goods.

Elections will be held in Yvelines, located 23 km west of Paris. So radical ways to combat Internet piracy strongly opposed the European Parliament have in the previous term.
