The European Commission will not check Google

French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Thursday proposed by the involvement of anti-trust departments to investigate the dominant position of Google's online advertising market. He suggested placing a "Google tax" revenue from ads on search engines and web portals. Brussels, however, claims that so far the French authorities had not informed the European Commission's plans for "Google tax".
