Google is testing its own Android phone?

altMario Queiroz, vice president of product management in Google informs the official blog of mobile technology for the new device. This must be a combination of innovative hardware and one of the partners operating system Android. Such a "mobile laboratory" experiments would serve the new functions. Google testers already have such devices and their duty is imposed on the rapid feedback to the proposals and amendments.

Google employees have already said about this on Twitter. Meanwhile, there are also pictures and some details of the device. Manufacturer to be HTC, the processor is a Qualcomm's Snapdragon and the screen is probably OLED panel with high resolution. There are no keyboard, only typical for Android phones with four buttons. OS is Android 2.1.

According to the newspaper "The Wall Street Journal, the device is to be called the Nexus One. Techcrunch believes that it could hit the market in 2010 and would be sold directly by Google - no links with mobile operators.
