altAdministrators of one of the largest Internet Bittorent-trackers were forced to take unprecedented steps - to remove almost all the torrents from the database resource. This decision was taken after they were judicial proceedings with the Dutch human rights organization BREIN.

Recently, because of the claim holders have been removed all the distribution of content protected by copyright, which means that now at Mininova will not find a single torrent, lined ordinary users.

How to write in his blog, the creators of the resource, they initially tried to develop a system that would prevent the spread of illegal content and allowed to distribute only those materials that were not protected by copyright. However, they said, enough to create the perfect filtering algorithm did not succeed, resulting in them had to remove all the custom torrents.

Now popular tracker can be found only torrent-files downloaded via the distribution of content (Content Distribution). The system, launched a resource back in 2007, allows publishers, as well as by the artists to use tracker for advertising and distribution of their copyright content.

However, still unknown, as fate would turn Mininova. According to the creators of the popular file-sharing resource, they are now considering options for its rehabilitation.

Recall the famous "Pirate Bay" has already stopped the server, which is responsible for the work bittorent-tracker - thus, its administrators are doing everything possible to absolve themselves of responsibility for the illegal distribution of copyright content.

Sorry to burst your bubble but The Pirate Bay is still operating.
I'm downloading the new Avatar game from there as I type this up!
Maybe you guys should do some research and just to let you know Mininova is still around it's just using a different name now.
Like I said do some research before you write something up!!
