Google Group has decided to make public as Open Source tools for creating some of the programs. The case relates specifically Compiler Closure, Closure Library Closure and Closure Templates Inspector. These tools were used to create a well-known network applications for Gmail, Google Docs and Google Maps.

Compiler is used to make refinements and optimize javascript code to run faster and efficiently even when download AIM network. The tool removes unused code, modifies it automatically, and then the program is small in size. Compiler also can check the syntax and code references and the types of variables (variable). Compiler can also complement Closure Inspector tool, which is a type extension Firebug, it helps developers diagnose and improve their own code elements.

Closure Library is Google's own javascript library, which contains the code of services and service components of the programs depending on the user browser. As is clear from the notice, all these tools are used by Google to create large and complex web applications. Closure Templates Templates facilitate the automatic creation of HTML code. Templates can be used by javascript on the client or the server with installed Java.
