altAs planned, the developers Canonical have completed work on the fifth test release Ubuntu 9.10 - codenamed Karmic Coala. The new updated version of the Linux kernel 2.6.31-RC8 and GNOME graphical environment for editing 2.27.91. A full description of changes, including a list of known errors found in the distribution of documentation (Release Notes).

Persons interested in testing can now download the standard issue of Ubuntu Desktop, Server, and the Netbook Remix. In addition, the test was also developed varieties Karmic Ubuntu Alpha 5, such as the Ubuntu Desktop for ARM, Ubuntu Server for UEC and EC2, Desktop and Netbook Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Mythbuntu.

Preliminary editions such as the above mentioned are not intended for everyday work, as may be volatile. On the final release of Ubuntu 9.10 we have to wait until 29 October 2009.
