Google introduced an operating system for Tablet PCs

With clamor raised by the marketing department at Apple, where a week ago, presented the device iPad, the remaining players in the market "soft" solutions and operating systems for them once relegated to the background. Yet, today some news for his fans provided by Google.

Internet search engine to announce a special assembly of the provisional version of the operating system, Chrome OS, specifically designed for netbooks and sensor computers. The company said that the court developers today are assembling Chrome OS, designed to run on Tablet PCs.

As Google noted that the peak of popularity of tablets will be in late 2010 - early 2011, about the same time released the final version of tablet version of the Chrome OS Tablet Edition. Presented platform is based on all the same core Chromium and generally pretty much like the original Chrome OS.

Nevertheless, the new version has several differences, brings it to the mobile OS Android. Thus, flatbed Chrome OS supports virtual keyboard, multi-sensory input and some minor interface functions that are absent in the netbook Chrome OS. "Under the hood" in this version has the support of several mobile components that are unique to tablets or smartphone. These elements may include support for mobile video cards Nvidia Tegra 2 and memory card microformats.

The current version of OS support sensory computers with screen sizes of 5 or 10 inches.
