Powercolor added water-cooling to graphics card HD 5970

Powercolor officially presented LCS HD 5970 graphics card with two cores and water-cooled. Cooling unit uses the same as in some previous models of graphics accelerators Powercolor - from EK Waterblocks, while the card has a small factory overclocking. Both HD 5970 graphics core LCS operate at 750 MHz and GDDR5 memory 2 GB overclocked to 1050 MHz.

Included with the adapter supplied computer game Codemasters Dirt2. The board features two DVI connector and a Mini DisplayPort.

Water cooling system has a copper base, covering all the memory chips. According to Powercolor, it helps reduce the temperature down to 30 degrees compared with the reference card.

Graphics adapter LCS HD 5970 will go on sale January 21, and its cost will be $ 830.
