PDC: Ray Ozzie talks about the Windows Azure

Company from Redmond puts more on the idea of Software plus Services, linking closely with the locally installed software to network services. For specific applications running on the platform of the Microsoft Azure promises to combine all-purpose techniques and services that only come to mind. For now, the company tested the software using Java and PHP in the future also have to be supported Eclipse, Apache and MySQL.

With the Microsoft Server AppFabric tool (which appeared during the PDC as the first beta version), developers can temporarily store data and programs to manage hosting parameters. Edition software review articles (CTP) is to be ready in 2010.

Microsoft continues to expand or portal Pinpoint where Azure developers can present their own achievements. Code-named Dallas arise where the existing directory services and services related to the data. Dallas has also collected a number of public databases and to share their resources through Web services
