Details on how much guaranteed money De Sean Jackson will get in restructured deal with Eagles

Hours after the wide receiver said goodbye to Tampa Bay in a cryptic Instagram post, NFL Media reported the Buccaneers had worked out a trade to send Jackson to the Eagles.

Kevin O'Donnell of Fox13 reports that releasing Jackson gives Tampa Bay an additional $10 million in cap space. Prior to his two seasons in Tampa Bay, he spent three with Washington from 2014 to 2016.

Jackson was slated to make $10 million in 2019 on the final year of his three-year, $33.5 million deal with the Bucs.

The first day of the NFL's legal tampering period was a busy one for the Birds, who reportedly traded for Jackson, added a different Jackson, and saw Nick Foles agree to a four-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson averaged a career-low 13.4 yards per catch in 2017, when Winston started 13 games. Jackson led the National Football League averaging 18.9 yards per catch in 2018, while hauling in 41 receptions for 774 yards and four touchdowns.

Teams may begin to negotiate with potential free agents on Monday and are allowed to finalize contracts with them beginning on Thursday. His playing time was reduced in the second half of last season, but he's still an effective interior pass-rusher.

The deal, according to Adam Schefter, is expected to be worth $30 million over three years.

Now, with free agency approaching, it seems like the team is back to moving on from Jackson.
