Regina Kings wins Oscar for best supporting actress

If Beale Street Could Talk Regina King

Regina King accepts the Actress in a Supporting Role award for "If Beale Street Could Talk" onstage during the 91st Annual Academy Awards at Dolby Theatre on February 24, 2019 in Hollywood, California.

"Chris Evans might actually be better than Captain America", another suggested. Before she received her award and said her emotional speech, she nearly tripped over her dress and Evans quickly offered his arm and escorted her up to the stage. "And I'm waiting for her to get her a star".

Another wrote: "This just melted my heart".

It was a simple gesture, sure, but Chris Evans embodied pure chivalry in a way that we only see in fairy tale movies and, yes, Marvel superhero flicks. Let us know in the comments section below.

And Chris, 37, couldn't jump to Regina's aid soon enough.

Whoops! Regina King won an Oscar, but almost tripped on her way to the stage at the 91st Academy Awards when her heel caught on the train of her white gown.

The 2019 Oscars are doing their damndest to keep things short this year, so it's appropriate that one of the lovelier moments of the ceremony was blink-and-you'll-miss-it.

Chris was among the many superheroes repping the MCU at the Oscars, with Black Panther up for Best Picture tonight.

"Mom, thank you for teaching me that God is leaning, has always been leaning, in my direction", King said, concluding her speech with "God is good, all the time".
