Under Bajin, Osaka won both the US Open and the Australian Open to rank World No. 1.

The news comes just three weeks since Osaka's successful run to her second straight major title at the Australian Open, which launched her to World No.1. I wish you nothing but the best as well.

Osaka hired Bajin ahead of the 2018 WTA season and the pair didn't take long to click on court.

"I will no longer be working together with Sascha", tweeted the USA -based Japanese 21-year-old.

He previously worked with Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Caroline Wozniacki.

Osaka's agent confirmed to The Associated Press that Osaka would no longer be coached by Bajin but said there would be no further comment. Under Bajin's tutelage, she held her first title in at Indian Wells in March past year and made her major breakthrough at Flushing Meadows by defeating Serena Williams in the final.

"Thank you for letting me be part of this", he responded to Osaka's tweet. "Winning back-to-back Grand Slam tournaments is a rare and special achievement, and I'm thrilled these results have propelled Naomi to the top of the women's game", said Evert, the first ever WTA world number one. The 21-year-old announced the news on Monday on Twitter.
