Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga perform A Star Is Born song at Vegas show

Our hopes and dreams have come true: The leads of A Star Is Born Bradley Cooper, 44, and Lady Gaga, 32, have finally performed "Shallow" together live! Here's the performance as captured by people in the crowd.

As Gaga vocalised, Cooper moved around the stage, exhorting the crowd to applaud her performance and playing air guitar.

Another person who was in the audience wrote on Twitter: "I think I just had a heart attack" before posting a picture of Cooper, Gaga and the other performers taking a bow.

With the news dropping recently that Black Panther's "All The Stars" and A Star Is Born's "Shallow" would be the only nominated songs performed at the 91st Academy Awards, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper chose to get a bit of impromptu practice in. Then, after he finished his solo, video shows her get up and begin her part of the duet on the piano. The two embraced and he followed Gaga to the piano.

The song, which was nominated for an Academy Award earlier this week, is the closing number of the "Enigma" show, the residency that kicked off in late December.

Though he added, "I can't hear anything", Cooper seemed unfazed as he launched into a rendition of the song, which is nominated for an Oscar.
