RB Leipzig enters race to sign Chelsea youngster Hudson-Odoi

Callum Hudson Odoi is wanted by Bayern Munich

Unfortunately, the Blues boss has confirmed a double injury blow for Chelsea with attacking duo Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi both ruled out of the visit to Palace this weekend.

Pedro came off injured against Watford on Boxing Day and he is set to miss the next 10 days as he suffers from a hamstring injury.

Sky Sports reported earlier on Saturday the Bundesliga club had bid around £13.5m for the 18-year-old.

Though the Italian generally opts for the more mobile Hazard through the middle in Chelsea's front line, Pedro's absence will likely mean that the Belgian is forced to drift back out to his more natural left wing role.

Bayern are planning to sign replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who are in the twilight of their careers.

Moses has made just two Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season.

That being said, following Chelsea's decision to reject the bid, the Bundesliga champions have made a second bid in excess of £20 million for Hudson-Odoi, who recently stated that he wants first team football.

The United States midfielder is considered as one of the top youngsters in the world and he will become the most expensive American player if he makes the move to Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool target and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic, 20, looks set to join Premier League rivals Chelsea according to an announcement made by former United States striker Eddie Johnson on social media.

Aside Chelsea, the 20-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United.
