Well specifically this one is called Warp Charge 30, because it has 30 watts of power, and improves the existing fast charging stats by ten minutes.

This technology has been at the heart of all McLaren cars since 1981 when it was introduced to the Formula 1 vehicle design, before being integrated into McLaren road cars in 1993.

OnePlus says it can produce this incredible power without it ever slowing down even when the device is being used, or generating excessive heat.

Warp Charge is a super-fast way to charge your phone, with nearly a full days charge (50% capacity of the 3,700mAh battery) in just 20 minutes - all of which happens with the phone remaining cool while charging.

When compared to the OnePlus 6T standard edition, the McLaren Edition has 2GB more RAM and Warp Charge 30 to more efficiently fuel up the smartphone. A OnePlus 6T carbon fiber black cover is included with the McLaren logo on the lower part of the back. The phone maker's CEO Pete Lau said in a statement that this handset is the "start of an exciting partnership with McLaren, giving people a feeling of incredible speed and performance".

Building on the design of the regular 6T, the McLaren Edition features the F1's teams signature Papaya Orange colour scheme along its bottom edge. Moreover, the top-end version of OnePlus 6T with 8GB RAM & 256GB internal storage retails at Rs 52,500. The McLaren Edition has a lot going for it, and is an easy recommendation for Formula One fans. The technology behind Warp Charge 30 is Oppo's Super VOOC (Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current Charging).

Under the phone's glass back is a pattern reminiscent of the carbon fibre used by McLaren on its road and race cars. So, you're essentially paying extra for a bump up in RAM, faster charging, and McLaren branding. The smartphone sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ display with 1080x2340 pixel resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

In addition to the new look of the handset itself, the McLaren Edition also features a customized software experience that includes exclusive animations and themes - but is this really enough to push those sitting on the fence into making a purchase?

The device will cost $699 and it will be available in North America, certain regions in Europe, India and China. The 6T adds $24.17 to the monthly bill, a bit less than more expensive phones.
