Like Adele, we've been perpetually screaming since the Spice Girls revealed they would be embarking on a grand, Victoria Beckham-less stadium tour next summer.

In a video shared on the band's newly created Twitter account, the four remaining members staged a mock news broadcast to confirm the tour, featuring them starting to sing one of their old songs.

Yesterday, Mel C, Mel B, Emma and Geri appeared in a minute-long clip to announce that tickets were going on sale from Saturday at 10.30am. Toby Anstis finally took over his show at 9.50am ready for the network to join at 10am.

"Girls, I've missed you", said Emma to much chatter as they walked into the studio.

"Liar liar, trousers on fire!" remarked Melanie Brown on Heart FM when it was mentioned that their reunion tour would run to just the six stadium gigs.

When the show's host jumped in, saying, "Or was a huge part", both Mel C and Mel B corrected him, noting, "She still is, she still is".

"She's very excited for us..."

Mel B, who recently went through an acrimonious divorce with Stephen Belafonte, admitted: "Clearly I don't, never have done, never will".

Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Baby, let's give them their proper titles - spoke about their comeback on Heart Breakfast, the radio show now presented by Bunton alongside Jamie Theakston. Victoria Beckham, who won't be a part of it, has sent the rest of her former bandmates love and luck for the shows.

Now it seemed she was keen to get back on the 'Star and head to France (or perhaps she was heading to Brussels...or Amsterdam!) as she was seen wearing a resplendent red ensemble, complete with matching pumps for her, we assume, first class trip.

"This is not my job, this is my life and my girls".

But Mel B later said: "Can I just rectify something?"

Will the Spice Girls' tour be extended? "It would have really bothered me if I didn't say that". All five returned for a reunion tour in 2007 and a performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
