All the fans who have managed to purchase the launch event tickets will be first to experience the all new OnePlus 6T. It might have been great on other days, but for OnePlus, it came into conflict with an event just one hour later in Manhattan for its OnePlus 6T. This is just the latest in a long line of leaks surrounding the smartphone, which has been confirmed to launch on October 30th at events being held in New Delhi and NY. It's not a small feat for OnePlus to change the date of a global event, but OnePlus doesn't want to be overshadowed by Apple.

OnePlus's highly anticipated next-generation flagship phone, the 6T, was originally supposed to launch on Oct. 30, but now the company has moved the event date to Oct. 29, no doubt because another tech behemoth is also holding a product launch event on Oct. 30. However, he didn't say how much of a delay should the users of these OnePlus smartphones be expecting. The 6T will now be unveiled at the same location on October 29.

The OnePlus 6, which launched in the summer, started at £519 for an 8GB/128GB configuration. That means that the OnePlus 6T would be competing for attention on the day of its big reveal. We still have a week until the official unveiling, but Pete Lau, the company CEO, just teased the camera performance of the upcoming flagship. The announced move comes after Apple sent out invitations for its own product event for October 30 - in the same city, New York.

That said, the India launch event for the OnePlus 6T is, so far, unaffected by this change in timing and will be held on October 30 at 8:30 PM in India. "The next, we were posed with a hard question: 'What do we do now?'" But when Apple broke the news that it would host its second launch event on October 30 in New York City, OnePlus was taken aback.

"To those affected, we know sorry isn't good enough", added Lau.

The company also mentioned that they have validated several honest and thoughtful feedback regarding the same and came to the conclusion to shift the launch event.

'We will cover any costs you might incur to change your plans. "So, we will do everything in our power to make things right".

The overall design of the phone can be seen in a 360-degree render video which you can view below and they confirm a waterdrop notch at the top and a dual-camera stack setup with a dual LED flash module below it.
