New bombshell allegations against US Supreme Court nominee

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Republicans should have pushed Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination through the Senate two weeks ago

The committee could vote on Mr Kavanaugh's confirmation tomorrow, with a final Senate vote early next week.

"[Unnamed] recently realized that one of the men was Brett Kavanaugh when she saw Kavanaugh's high school yearbook photo on television over the weekend. This is what traumatized me the most and had the most lasting impact on my life".

But the letter was leaked to the press and she then decided that she should speak out to tell her story in her own words. "I did not do this back in high school or at any time", he said.

"This was never more evident to me than when, to raise money for football camp, I spent a few weeks working as a bag boy at the local supermarket", he wrote.

Ford and Kavanaugh are to testify Thursday about her allegations that Kavanaugh held her down, tried to remove her clothes and covered her mouth at a drunken high school party in the 1980s.

But after more allegations emerged, some Republican senators have admitted that much is riding on his performance.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the committee, said in her opening statement that sexual violence is a serious problem in the United States "and one that goes largely unseen".

In prepared testimony released, 51-yr-old Blasey Ford said she feared Kavanaugh would rape her during attack, which occurred in 1982.

Ford said Judge was laughing and playing loud music as Kavanaugh pinned her down on a bed and groped her. Judge has denied the allegation. I never did anything remotely resembling what Dr. Ford describes.

"I am innocent of this charge", Kavanaugh says.

"In Room 226 in the Dirksen Senate Office building, Kavanaugh will effectively stand trial after three women came forward with accusations about his conduct as a teenager in the alcohol-fueled youth party culture of the early 1980s".

The hearing kicks off at 10 AM ET and Ford is first up. He also said, however, that his mind could be changed after watching the public hearings.

In response, Trump declared that allegations against his Supreme Court pick were "all false to me" during a press conference in NY on Wednesday evening.

Swetnick and Avenatti did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Ford will be testifying in front of the Republican-led committee on Thursday about her allegations that Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Trump's SCOTUS nominee, attempted to sexually assault her at a party in high school. A spokesman for committee Chairman Sen.

Meanwhile, the Republican staff for the Senate Judiciary Committee has requested an immediate interview with Swetnick over the latest allegations.

"But what Justice O'Connor said, she said women have to get out there and do things that make an impressive show".

"You know, believe it or not, I'm going to see what's said" at the hearing, Trump told reporters.

Fresh sex assault claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has surfaced, as Democrats demand delaying his hearing in the Senate.
