Pogba implores Manchester United to 'attack attack attack'

Paul Pogba insists his comments on Manchester United's playing style were not meant as a personal attack on Jose Mourinho.

Sanchez has endured a disappointing spell at Old Trafford following his switch from Arsenal in January and has scored just twice in the Premier League so far.

"I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking".

United's poor early-season form - they have already lost away at Brighton and at home to Tottenham - means they are now eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

"We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves", the Frenchman was quoted by Metro.

"Obviously we should show more options but I can not say that because I'm a player".

"I'm not the manager, I can not say but obviously we should show more option of playing but I can not say because I'm a player", he said.

Kicking us off is a stat that isn't entirely Sanchez's fault - hence the position in this ranking- but still doesn't make good reading for the 121-time Chilean worldwide.

Nicol, who spent over a decade at Anfield, has supported Sanchez by claiming that the winger is enduring a hard spell at Old Trafford due to Manchester United's slow build-up play and poor tempo.

Mourinho has been tasked with steering the Red Devils to a Premier League title challenge after they finished second and without a trophy last season.

Pogba has drawn criticism for what have been perceived to be below-par performances following his key role in France's World Cup success, while Mourinho has denied a rift with the star midfielder.

Pogba believes there is an attitude problem against the league's less fashionable sides. "We are here to attack", said Pogba. "We should move more, yeah".

"Obviously we should show more options, but I can not say that because I'm a player". I don't know how many games we've had at home - three - and we've got only four points.

"We didn't lose, but for me we should have won".

They could've taken all three were it not for David De Gea, who stopped them twice from going ahead in the first half. We want to play every game like it is the last game of our lives.
