Pruthvi from Chenchupeta village of Tenali town in the district working as a financial consultant in the Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, was returning from the bank when the gunman opened fire at the foundation square in the downtown.

"If he had gotten on the elevator, gone up to a floor, if he had been there earlier or a little bit longer, many more people would have been killed", Cranley said.

Neighbours who lived in a Cincinnati-area apartment building that Santa Perez moved into this year gave conflicting descriptions of him.

One unnamed construction worker told WLWT television that he saw two victims being brought out in the aftermath, including one woman in a blood-soaked shirt.

Police Chief Eliot Isaac said three or four officers exchanged gunfire with the shooter, identified as Omar Santa Perez.

Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco said she recognized the youngest victim of the Fifth Third Center shooting.

Five people were shot, some multiple times, in the incident, they said, adding that the gunman felled in a shootout with officers.

No officers were injured in the incident, and the gunman's motive remains unclear.

People in and around the building reported hearing a series of gunshots. The company in a statement said it's working with law enforcement and offers thoughts and prayers for "everyone caught up in this awful event".

The first call came in around 9:10 a.m. Shots were fired in the lobby and loading dock.

Details of the shooting were not immediately available, but the dispatcher said the situation is no longer active, and a suspect is in custody.

Newcomer had worked for the company for four years, overseeing trade workers like Montoya.

Police had not publicly identified the two others killed.

"There may be a possibility that there's some mental health issues involved here, but again, the investigation is only hours old", he said.

"I remember meeting him at the temple", she told The Enquirer.

Leonard Cain told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he saw a woman wearing headphones get shot as she entered the building. "We're a bit rattled", said a Fifth Third Bank manager.

Officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrived on the scene to sweep the building, agency spokeswoman Suzanne Dabkowski said.

Two more died at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Television footage showed bodies being carried out on stretchers and police surrounding the area around the Fifth Third Center skyscraper, which is the corporate headquarters for Fifth Third Bank. Our country is the only first-world nation with this level of mass shootings. Later he went to United States to pursue M.S and got bank job.
