Actress Sean Young is wanted for questioning after she was caught on video stealing laptops and video production software from a shop in NY.

The actress and a man were seen on CCTV taking two Apple laptops and video production software from a store in the Queens area of NY on Thursday. It is reported that Young previously worked there, but was sacked about five months ago. All together, the cost of the stolen items is estimated to be about $12,000.

Surveillance video reportedly captured the actress breaking into an office in Queens, accompanied by a man.

The Associated Press and TMZ have also reported on the incident.

A huge star in the '80s and early '90s, Young appeared in such high-profile films as Stripes, Dune, Wall Street, Fatal Instinct, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and the aforementioned Blade Runner.

This is not the first time the iconic sci-fi star has been in trouble.

The eccentric star was sued for harassment by James Woods, her co-star in the 1988 drama The Boost, who claimed she had menaced him and his then-fiancee, and ran a freakish campaign aimed at convincing Tim Burton to cast her as Catwoman rather than Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns.

Young was arrested and Woods filed a $2 million harassment lawsuit against her, citing "intentional infliction of emotional distress".

"It's like putting a lovely racehorse out to pasture before her time and then after 20 years expecting her to be the same horse".
