AC Milan Making Progress Towards Signing Chelsea Star

Chelsea transfer news Eden Hazard is set for crunch talks over his future

It remains to be seen how quickly AC Milan will seal the deal.

Goal revealed on Wednesday that a deal for the Croatia worldwide was nudging Bakayoko towards the exits, with the Frenchman in talks with AC Milan a year on from a £40 million ($52m) move from Monaco.

How could Chelsea line up after the transfer window ends?

Any loan deal for Bakayoko is likely to include an option to buy, according to Sky in Italy.

Bakayoko, 23, joined Chelsea from Monaco last summer, with BBC Sport reporting that the fee was a huge £40million after the Frenchman starred in three seasons with Monaco.

The player is not expected to feature as a regular under Maurizio Sarri and has been allowed to leave the club on loan.

The arrival of Mateo Kovacic at Stamford Bridge on loan from Real Madrid has further bolstered a midfield unit in west London which has already welcomed Jorginho this summer.

Well, in all honesty it seems rather unlikely Mourinho will be getting the right-sided attacker he's been wanting all summer long before this week's transfer deadline.

Chelsea travel to Huddersfield for their first game of the season on Saturday.

Mateo Kovacic is being reportedly close to signing for Chelsea making Bakayoko surplus to requirements.

CHELSEA star Willian has spoken about Barcelona's attempts to sign him after insisting he is happy to remain at the club.

With Milan leading the race for Bakayoko, Everton's interest appears to be dependent on whether or not they land Zouma.
