Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that if the club does not strengthen before the season starts, it will be a hard campaign for them.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to bring Boateng to Old Trafford as the final piece of his Old Trafford jigsaw.

The Brazilian worldwide publicly insists he's content in west London but Willian has fuelled speculation of a move to Man Utd after hailing Mourinho as the best manager he's worked with and confirming he'd love to work with him again in the future.

Willian has suggested he would be happy to stay at Chelsea for the 2018-2019 but the 29-year-old has left the door ajar for a reunion with Mourinho.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek, Kenyon said: "He is more than capable - one of the best coaches in the world - but have they got it right? No".

"And if we don't make our team better it will be a hard season for us". "Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp".

'I hope he'll stay with us because he's an important player.

The Sun says they would have to pay Mourinho a staggering £12million if they sacked him this season.

Manchester United have been mentioned with just about every centre-back in Europe over the past week with Yerry Mina, Toby Alderweirald and Harry Maguire all linked with Old Trafford as Mourinho desperately searches for a new man to shore up his leaky back door.

Barcelona have reportedly had a series of offers for Willian rejected by Chelsea, but the attacker cleared up the speculation. He has never called me, but he always sends me text messages.
