Trump says 'might' ask Putin to extradite accused Russian hackers..

President Donald Trump sat down for an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Jeff Glor and previewed his big summit with Vladimir Putin. "I'm not going with high expectations". Asked whether he would press Putin to send to the United States members of the Russian military intelligence agency accused of hacking Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign, he said: "Well, I might".

Russian Federation has no extradition treaty with the United States, however.

U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, is joining other Democrats in demanding that President Trump address Russian interference in the 2016 election when he meets with Vladimir Putin Monday.

Clinton's remark comes after Trump received sweeping criticism for his comments about Putin and the United States intelligence assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election. And so having meetings with Russia, China, North Korea, I believe in it.

"Nothing bad is going to come out of it (Helsinki), and maybe some good will come out", he said. "But in a trade sense, they've really taken advantage of us".

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Theresa May said President Trump told her to sue the European Union as part of her Brexit strategy. Rosenstein said he had briefed President Trump on the indictment earlier this week, adding that although Americans corresponded with the indicted Russians, in this case no Americans knowingly conspired with Russian intelligence officers. "I think the European Union is a foe, what they do to us in trade". Trump and Putin will then have a larger meeting with other US and Russian officials, and end the day with a joint press conference.

"Well, I might", Trump replied.

"That's what one of the purposes of this meeting is, so the president can see eye to eye with President Putin and ask him about it", Bolton said. "We have asked, and the Russians have agreed, that it will be basically unstructured". Especially on foreign soil, he blamed the United States for the bad relationship with Russian Federation.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., meanwhile, suggested that Trump not even bother to press Putin on election meddling because "he's not going to admit that he did it".

He again described Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation as a "witch hunt" that has hampered USA relations with Russian Federation. Paul then attacked Blitzer's interviewing skills.
