The Royal Family gathers at Clarence House for Prince Louis's christening

The formal shots, taken by photographer Matt Holyoak, feature the wee prince alone with the Duchess of Cambridge, with the whole Cambridge family and in group shots with Kate's family, Prince Charles and Camilla and Prince Harry and Meghan at Clarence House. But for some royals fans, the shot of just mother and son was the standout of the set. The latest photo, taken by photographer Matt Porteous, shows the baby flashing a huge grin while in the arms of his proud mother, Kate Middleton.

Not present at the service were his great grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, though their absence had reportedly "been mutually agreed by the Queen and the Cambridges some time ago" and was "not made on health grounds".

OK! Online spoke to author and body language analyst Judi James, who said the pictures are showing a "relaxing of protocol and status rules in the royal family".

Natasha isn't the only one in Kate's inner circle expecting; the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister, Pippa Middleton, is also pregnant with her first child with her husband of a little over a year, James Matthews.

Following the christening, the British Royal Family released a series of photos from the big day.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis", the caption read.

Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan joined the family for a fourth portrait.

According to tradition, he was baptized with water from River Jordan, and wore the same christening gown used by his siblings Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, three.
