The smartphone is priced at Rs 14,490 and will be available starting July 5 exclusively via Flipkart and Samsung's e-store. For one, the hardware here is nothing impressive, looking like one of Samsung's devices from a few years ago.

Samsung, the South Korean electronics conglomerate, has launched the Galaxy On6 in India. While future for tablets seems to be ChromeOS we are lucky that Samsung are still pushing the Android wheelbarrow with their tablets otherwise there would be nothing worthwhile around.

Samsung Galaxy On6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

As such, it's likely that the device will be unlocked with Samsung's Intelligent Scan face recognition software. Galaxy On6 can also be purchased through exchange offers going up to Rs 12,200, and a 5% discount on Visa debit and credit cards.

Smartphones have becoming the next big thing with features like voice and facial recognition, fingerprint scanner and camera quality. Samsung Galaxy On6 will also come with the option for Flipkart's complete mobile protection plan at a price of Rs 49 only. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The onboard memory is only 64GB but it should be expandable. The Samsung DeX Pad Desktop Experience Accessory looks unassuming enough, but it's actually the key to a smartphone experience like none other. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and it is backed up by 3000mAh battery. On the rear, the device sports single rear camera which protrudes out of the body and also a LED flash. It also comes with Facebook Lite. The missing physical Home button hints that the Galaxy Tab S4 could possibly come with an in-display fingerprint scanner or even facial recognition. The logo is further down on the Galaxy Tab S4, but otherwise the overall design is basically the same, including the rear camera placement with LED flash.
