She made her first visit to the border on June 21, notoriously boarding her flight wearing a Zara jacket with the words "I really don't care, do u?".

Melania Trump is headed back to Texas - and it's safe to guess which item won't make it on her packing list this time. "The whole damn system's guilty, guilty".

- Melania Trump has left a sprawling Phoenix detention center for immigrant youths after a short visit. They inflated a giant blow-up avatar of Donald Trump, with a cartoonish version of the president in a KKK outfit, gripping the white hood in front of him.

"It's great to be here", Trump said to the group.

"If this is an issue of importance to the first lady, the field is vast for engagement and follow-up and her voice", she said.

"She's learning that these people at HHS facilities are providing some outstanding care under hard circumstances". He said the lack of cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement meant missed opportunities to detain and deport violent undocumented immigrants.

Trump stirred an global furor with a policy called "zero tolerance" that resulted in the government taking immigrant children from parents caught unlawfully crossing the US border with Mexico.

"She doesn't like to see parents and kids separated".

Before the preliminary injunction ruling, the US government urged Judge Sabraw not to require that it stop separating and quickly reunite migrant families after they illegally cross the US-Mexico border, saying Mr Trump's executive order "largely" addressed those goals.

"The administration's practice of separating families is cruel, plain and simple", New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said in an emailed statement.

Last week, Mrs. Trump met with officials who work with detained families in McAllen, Texas.

The visit drew more attention for a jacket Mrs. Trump wore that read, "I really don't care, do u?" on the back.

A USA border security chief has said his agency has temporarily stopped handing over migrant adults who cross the Mexican border with children for prosecution, raising questions about the future of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy.

Trump traded her black flats for white sneakers. On camera a Customs and Border Patrol agent told the First Lady "there have to be consequences" for those families attempting to enter the USA, often to seek asylum.

"It's incredible, as young as 6 years old, somebody would leave him", the first lady said, and shook her head.
