Production credits range from some of Drake's most trusted beat smiths like Noah "40" Shebib to hip-hop legends like DJ Premier and No I.D.

Their were rumors circulating online previous year that following the release of Drake's More Life playlist, the OVO rapper would be leaving Birdman's Cash Money records label and taking his talents elsewhere.

On "Final Fantasy", there is a sample of a talk show where a man is asking "who'd they say that baby look like?" and a woman loudly answers "Drake".

"I just find it odd the the MJ Estate would use precious vocals on what appears to be an album track for Drake".

It's believed he has a son with Frenchwoman Sophie Brussaux, born last October, and in the track Emotionless he raps about his experience of fatherhood.

He further addresses the kid on Scorpion's closing track, "March 14": "I had to come to terms with the fact that it's not a maybe". That s*** is in stone, sealed and signed. She not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine. "I only met you one time, introduced you to St. Nick", he raps.

A dreamy mid-tempo track driven by a synthesized R&B bass, "Don't Matter To Me" is in line with the adult output of Jackson, whose distinct voice is heard on the chorus.

"I used to challenge my parents on every album/ Now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/ Always promised the family unit/ I wanted it to be different because I've been through it". He revisits the soul-crushing side of social media on "Emotionless" when he recalls several women he knows who live through the lens of their phone cameras trying to "post pictures for people at home".
