North Korea to hand over US troops remains ‘in next few days’ – report

On Wednesday, on route to Moscow, South Korea's President Moon Jae-in told reporters that the lifting of United Nations sanctions could pave the way for investment in railroads, natural gas and electricity.

Asked on Wednesday whether North Korea has done anything toward denuclearization since the summit, U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told reporters, "No, I'm not aware of that".

The Pentagon this week confirmed that it had called off plans for joint military exercises in August with South Korea and other allies.

The KCNA added that the two leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, including the prospects for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and reached consensus on those discussed issues.
