Michael Porter Jr. cancels workout, may still allow medical evaluations

The Kings and other teams picking in the top 10 were supposed to watch Porter workout Friday in Chicago.

As Amick notes, Porter canceled his workout due to a hip issue that reportedly could be tied to the back injury that caused him to miss all but three games during his lone season at Missouri.

It seems that with the exception of Luka Doncic who will not be able to attend the draft, no other European player is considered a lock for the lottery of the upcoming National Basketball Association draft.

All the chatter and pre-Draft workouts lead us to an updated mock draft, so here we go with 3.0!

That's why for the first time in recent years, the invitations to the National Basketball Association draft green room possibly will not include a non-collegiate player, as ESPN reports.

Names started leaking out of who was invited to the green room in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where the 2018 NBA Draft takes place Thursday night, and it's who you'd expect. While he reportedly felt only about 50 percent physically, he had an impressive showing, according to multiple teams in attendance, as he shot the ball exceptionally well.

Porter underwent back surgery in his first and only collegiate season, but has said "There's no risk to reinjure it". He was cleared to play just two weeks prior to his June 8 pro day. Teams will be on hand for medical evaluations Friday afternoon. Several NBA teams including the Knicks, Kings, and Suns were expected to attend and get a second look at him.
