Manchester United manager José Mourinho is reportedly far from happy with what he perceives as an unfair advantage for bitter rivals Liverpool in next season's Premier League fixture list.

The Premier League's 20 clubs learned their 2018/19 fate on Thursday morning, when each of their 38 games for the season were announced.

Arsenal and Manchester City will collide in a huge curtain raiser to the 2018/19 Premier League season, which will again include 42 games shown exclusively live on BT Sport.

That work has still to be completed, with Premier League chiefs giving Spurs an away start at Newcastle.

Emery has succeeded Arsene Wenger, who left Arsenal after 22 years in charge.

There's a midweek clash as we travel to Watford on 4 December before facing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge the following weekend (8 December).

Tottenham Hotspur, who finished third, have confirmed that their first home fixture on the second week of the season against newly-promoted Fulham will be held at Wembley.

A journey down to Southampton follows on 29 December and we bring in the New Year with a mouth-watering visit of Liverpool on 1 January.

Oddly, for the third consecutive season, we lock horns with Arsenal and Chelsea in consecutive games. Tottenham make the trip to Tyneside to play Newcastle United, while Chelsea go to Huddersfield and Manchester United host Leicester City.

Manchester United and Spurs are away four times before group games, while Manchester City are on the road twice before European fixtures.

Manchester City are the reigning champions, with promoted sides Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and Cardiff City all returning to the Premier League.

Their second home game - not until the weekend of September 15 - sees Liverpool visit the as yet unnamed 62,000 arena on the site of the old White Hart Lane.
