NBC JUDGES SHOCK Cowell and co love Courtney's audition

This week her audition from America's Got Talent went on TV and the result was pretty incredible!

Watch the video to see her awesome performance.

What happened in between was her transformation into a soulful singing dynamo that prompted judge Howie Mandel to compare her to Janis Joplin.

Nerves certainly didn't get the best of 13-year-old Courtney Hadwin as she auditioned on America's Got Talent.

After appearing nervous on stage, Courtney Hadwin performed an energetic rendition of Hard to Handle by Otis Redding, later covered by the Black Crowes.

A confused Howie Mandel noted simply, "You're not wearing any underwear". "And then you sing, and you're like a lion", Cowell marveled.

Fellow judge Howie Mandel was so impressed he hit the gold buzzer sending her through to the live shows.

Courtney is no stranger to talent shows - she also competed in The Voice Kids in 2017 and was mentored by McFly and McBusted star Danny Jones.

A former McKinley High student has graduated from glee club to America's Got Talent.

Courtney made it to the final of the show after being put forward by judge Danny Jones, but narrowly missed out on the title, which was won by Jess Folley, one of rival judge Pixie Lott's choices.

What can you say about Courtney Hadwin's performance?

The teen also appeared as part of the South Tyneside Festival summer concert line up in Bents Park in South Shields in July a year ago where she entertained more than 18,000 people.

Before she was even done, the audience was on their feet.
