Ronaldo, Portugal's most capped player and record scorer, missed the first week of training and the friendlies against Tunisia and Belgium after playing for Real Madrid in the Champions League final against Liverpool at the end of last month.

But La Liga chief Tebas has tried to reassure both Atletico and Real fans that their star players will not leave this summer.

Bernardo will be seen in his usual position on the right wing, and will be expected to flank Cristiano Ronaldo and Goncalo Guedes up front.

However, Pique was not the only player who was absent as coach Julen Lopetegui brought an end to the sweltering morning's work in Russian Federation, with Manchester City's David Silva also finishing training early.

'It wouldn't be so dramatic for the league.

Cristiano Ronaldo is fully focused on Portugal's World Cup campaign and not his Real Madrid future, says global team-mate Manuel Fernandes.

Portugal are ranked fourth by Federation Internationale de Football Association and won nine of their 10 European qualifying group matches.

Speaking on Monday at Portugal's World Cup team base camp on the outskirts of Moscow, Fernandes said: "I have nothing negative to say about Cristiano, he looks focused and doesn't look at all anxious about his future".

The first was a 0-0 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano before a 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu saw Griezmann equalise following Ronaldo's opener.

Ronaldo was once again in stunning form for Real Madrid last season, netting 44 goals in all competitions.
