It appears the Golden State Warriors will remain a "super team" for the 2018-2019 season with Kevin Durant returning to a lineup that features four other perennial all stars, according to a report from ESPN.

Durant is averging 29.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists during the playoffs.

As you might know, Perkins and Stephen Curry got into it during Game 2 when Perkins didn't try to get out of the way of Curry, who was headed out of bounds.

Steph only managed to score 11 points on 3/16 from the field and 1/10 from three in Game 3. Curry is 30, Durant is 29, and Draymond Green and Klay are 28. Prior to this year's finals, the Warriors already took five crowns after winning the 1947, 1956, 1975, 2015, and 2017 rings.

Yes, Durant went on to elaborate on how this year's Warriors compare to last year's team, but really, he answered the most important and pressing question at hand. A team official had to hold him back. The numbers, and the iconic Game 3 performance earned him the Finals MVP award for the second straight season. "This is the best place for me to just play ball, work on my game, play ball, and not care about [expletive] that normal National Basketball Association superstars are supposed to care about". Durant has bought into the Warriors culture and Bay Area living while adding to his legacy as one of the greatest players to have ever played the game. I don't want to downplay anything and say like this is the end of the road. All-Star forward Kevin Love backed James' triple-double effort with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

Kerr had predicted that much from the start, citing his playing days with those Jordan Bulls and remembering how hard it was to keep a championship-caliber edge as time wore on.

It was James' third consecutive game of scoring 25 points or more in this year's finals.
