Trump Attacks Obama, Democrats For Not Looking Into Russia

"I don't think they would have asked to interview him until they are pretty much finished with everything".

In the months before the election, the Federal Bureau of Investigation also was investigating the Clinton Foundation for its fundraising practices and Hillary's and some of her associates' use of a private email server while she was Obama's Secretary of State.

President Trump has unleashed his ire against the "13 angry Democrats" on special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation on Twitter the past couple of days.

Trump also went after Mueller's team of investigators, which involves many registered Democrats, though Mueller himself is a Republican and Federal Bureau of Investigation rules prohibit making assignments based on party affiliation. "There was no Collusion, except by the Democrats!", Trump tweeted.

"It's a Rigged Witch Hunt, that's why!" At least nine have donated to Democratic candidates and causes.

Giuliani has previously said that Trump has done nothing improper and is eager to talk to Mueller.

Trump has repeatedly described the Russian Federation investigation as a "witch hunt" fueled by the "fake news" media and has even floated the idea of firing Mueller. And after a high-level briefing last week with lawmakers, Democrats maintained they had seen no evidence "to support any allegation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation or any intelligence agency placed a "spy" in the Trump Campaign".

Clapper told "Face the Nation" that as DNI during the Obama administration, he would not have known about any Federal Bureau of Investigation informant or their decision to use a human source. Within hours, it was being reported as credible by conservative-leaning sites such as Fox News, the Daily Caller, and Breitbart.
