Terrorists Identified Among Those Killed on Gaza Border

Worldwide condemnation of the killing by Israeli security forces of 60 Palestinians in Gaza intensified yesterday, though the United States praised the "restraint" shown by Israel.

Palestinian authorities released "martyrdom" photos of 10 members of the Hamas terrorist group's internal security apparatus who were killed on Monday, according to BILD reporter Bjorn Stritzel. Most likely it will watch as Hamas reaps the gains of its strategy: Egypt already has responded by relaxing its own closure of the Gaza border. The story told by the those who hate Israel, in other words, hate freedom and those that uphold it, like the only functioning democracy in the Middle East, is a story that is simply not true.

"When we talk about peaceful resistance, we are deceiving the public", Zahhar said.

"How many more Palestinians have to die before you take action?" he said to the Council members, who are responsible for maintaining worldwide peace and security.

Canada, along with its major allies, does not support the US embassy move to Jerusalem, saying that's a decision for a future peace agreement between the Palestinians and Israelis.

Monday, which marked the bloodiest day for Palestinians since the 2014 Gaza war, also saw the official relocation of the American embassy from Tel Aviv to the occupied Jerusalem al-Quds.

Haley, speaking at the beginning of the session, said the location of the US Embassy has no bearing on whatever Israelis and Palestinians might negotiate and described the opening of the facility as "a cause for celebration".

The United Nations Security Council was due to meet to discuss the situation.

Doctors Without Borders called on the Israeli army to stop using deadly force against demonstrators, saying their actions were "unacceptable and inhuman".

Thousands of Palestinians are protesting near Gaza's border with Israel, as Israel prepared for the festive inauguration of a new U.S. Embassy in contested Jerusalem.

The Palestinians have long wanted Jerusalem to be the capital of a future Palestinian state.

Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian representative at the United Nations, said the embassy opening had violated worldwide law and Security Council resolutions.
