Ken Jeong Helps Woman Who Suffered Seizure ... During His Stand-Up Set

"Jeong at first believed people were heckling him, but as soon as he was made aware that someone was in trouble, "[he jumped] off stage to assist" a woman having a seizure, according to Twitter user Heather Holmberg, who was at the show. A woman had a medical emergency during the show he comes to rescue her. "It was such ideal timing: Ken just jumped from the stage to help", Heather Holmberg said.

Jeong's publicist, Michelle Margolis, confirmed that the comedian thought he was being heckled at first but quickly realized the situation was far more serious than that and sprung into action. The trained physician and former star of ABC's Dr. Ken jumped from the stage to help a woman in the third row who required medical assistance.

Ken resumed his show after the audience member was driven to hospital in an ambulance.

"He couldn't see what was going on with the lights". An EMT in the audience also helped provide aid. "We need you!' He realised there was an issue, and he came over".

It may seem too lucky to be true, but the Hangover star's heroic gestures weren't part of his act - though he no longer practices, Jeong graduated with a medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1995.

Jeong is best-known for playing gangster Leslie Chow in the three Hangover films, as well as appearing in the sit-com Community.
