'Dark Souls: Remastered' on Nintendo Switch Delayed to 'Later This Summer'

Weirdly enough, it looks like the rest of the versions of the game will still be releasing on track for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One when they debut on May 25. However, the delay has caused the release date for both to be pushed back to summer 2018.

The infamously hard RPG classic is getting a long-awaited revival with the upcoming Dark Souls Remastered, and while PS4, Xbox One, and PC players will get to re-experience its trials next month, Nintendo Switch owners unfortunately will have to wait a little bit longer.

The Dark Souls amiibo will be released along with Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch release. Still, the idea of portable Dark Souls is one that's hard to resist, even if the Nintendo Switch version may not run as well as the other versions. Dark Souls Remastered may be arriving next month, but Bandai Namco is excluding Nintendo's latest console from the initial sun praising.

The Dark Souls network test will be available to download from the Nintendo eShop. It packs in the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. At the time, it was revealed that the revival will come with improved resolution and framerate.
