Miller's contract runs out at the end of the season, while Scotland global Wallace has a year left on his deal.

The fallout from Sunday's 4-0 win for Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final continues as reports emerged this morning that the pair are to be suspended over their involvement in a post-match bust-up with Graeme Murty.

The duo are believed to have been reprimanded by the club, subject to an internal investigation, after venting some choice words in the dressing room following Sunday's dismal loss to their bitter rivals in the Scottish Cup semi-final.

Sky Sports say both players are likely to be suspended for the rest of the season - which would end Miller's stay with the club.

Miller, 38, and 30-year-old Wallace were reported to be involved in an angry outburst with Murty in the aftermath of the club's humiliating collapse against Brendan Rodgers' side.

Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership, 13 points behind Celtic at the split with five games remaining.

Now, Wallace and Miller's futures are too in doubt after being suspended by the club, who confirmed as such in a short statement on Tuesday afternoon.

The move could effectively end Miller's career with Rangers as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Wallace still has another 12 months left on his Ibrox deal and only time will tell if he will get a chance to play for the Rangers again.
